Professional skier and content creator promoting an appreciation for the art of skiing through creative expression and athletic performance.

Marcus Caston has been an icon in the skiing world for over a decade. With a style that evokes memories of skiing’s roots, he is known for playful hop turns and clean arcs in just about any snow condition.

Having grown up skiing on the Snowbird Race team, his education in powder skiing and big mountain lines came hand in hand with learning how to carve a ski. Ski photography led him to his first Warren Miller trip, and he has been featured in eight of the films since. His summers are spent inspiring skiing’s next generation in Mt. Hood.

On a quest to find the perfect turn, he hunts for the unique coalescence of light, terrain, and snow. The Return of the Turn series he produces and stars in follows him on this journey, finding impeccable turns in locations that range from the Swiss Alps to your town hill.

You can find Marcus skiing around the Wasatch. His skiing is all about rhythm and flow, and if you’re not sure what that looks like, take a few tram laps at Snowbird and you’ll probably find out.
